18 years ago, Gary Vaughan and Dale Hall created a ski hire business - Snowy Mountains Skis - that prioritized the provision of great equipment at exceptional value for skiers.

Gary and Dale's philosophy of happily catering to each customer's individual needs quickly gained them a large following of devoted customers. These loyal fans also coined a nickname for the business, simply calling it 'The Shed'. 

We Won't let the staff 'hold-you-up'!

Today, the only thing that has changed is the partnership, with Dale now pursuing other interests whilst Gary continues to run the business.

Thousands of skiers and boarders visit "The Shed" each season to rent their equipment, have their skis & boards fine-tuned or just check up on the latest snow news. On any day, you will find Gary out on the floor helping his staff provide customers with that personalised attention that has become the mainstay of his business.
